Everything stays on your device
Converses collects none of your data. The people and notes you create never leave your phone.
The data you create
The people, notes, channels and settings you create are stored only on your device. The app does not request internet access, so it has no way to send them anywhere.
What we don't collect
Converses has no:
- analytics
- advertising
- crash reports
- third-party SDKs
- accounts or sign-in
Backups
The app's database and settings are excluded from Android's cloud backup. They are not copied to your Google account.
Protected people
If you protect a person, Android verifies your identity with the screen lock or biometrics. The app never receives or stores biometric data.
Exporting
When you export notes, Android's share sheet opens. The data only reaches the app you choose, which applies its own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
You can delete people and notes inside the app at any time. If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, all data is permanently deleted.
Children
Converses is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example when payment features are added through Google Play, it will be published on this page with a new date.
